The Armonk Chamber of Commerce & the Byram Hills Pre-School Association will be hosting the Jamie's 5K Run for Love/ Cider & Donut Festival, and BHPA Carnival this Sunday, September 10^th, from 9:00AM-3:00PM. Among the festivities is a featured road race, the Jamie’s 5K Run For Love ,and also the McIntosh Mile and the Donut Dash, which will begin at 9:15 AM in Wampus Brook Park at the corner of Bedford Road and Maple Avenue. The road races will affect vehicular traffic to varying degrees in the area. The following roadways will be affected: Bedford Road between Maple Avenue and the cul-de-sac; MacDonald Avenue; Wampus Avenue; School Street; Cox Avenue; Sunset Drive; Hunter Avenue; Maryland Avenue; Maple Avenue.

The North Castle Police Department will have officers deployed to assist with any traffic closures or diversions in the area. There will be several volunteers assisting along the route for those participating in the race. Please use caution when traveling through these areas. It is anticipated that any roadway closures will be for a short duration of time.

Activities continue in Wampus Brook Park after the completion of Jamie’s 5K Run For Love. Heavier than usual pedestrian and vehicular traffic is expected throughout the day so we urge you to use caution and allow extra time for your travels. Consider alternate routes if possible.
