* At 327 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cedar Glen Lakes, or 14 miles west of Toms River, and is nearly stationary. Additional clusters of severe thunderstorms are also located within the warned area and are nearly stationary. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Toms River, Lakewood, Jackson, Tabernacle, Presidential Lakes Estates, Lakehurst, Allentown, Pemberton, Wrightstown, Six Flags Theme Park, Cedar Glen West, Leisuretowne, Georgetown, Cassville, Crosswicks, Presidential Lakes, Woodruff, Cedar Glen Lakes, Imlaystown and Whiting. This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike near exit 8. Interstate 195 in New Jersey near mile marker 3.

Instructions:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
