QAP Highway Construction Updates 
QAP is changing their hours for work on the Seward Highway and 3rd Avenue and will be operating during the hours of 7 am to 10 pm from September 11, 2023 through the end of the project, including weekends. Please be aware of detours and look for alternate routes.
Parking along 3rd Avenue will not be available at certain points of the project. Please follow all signs and the directions of QAP personnel. Violators will be cited and towed.
Vibrations from the road work will be significant and it is recommended that those living within one block of the Seward Highway or 3rd Avenue remove items from walls and shelves that are not securely fastened.
Although the repairs to the roadway may be loud and inconvenient, they are necessary and will ultimately benefit the community. Please be patient and respectful while QAP completes the project.
