NARRATIVE:
On September 9th, 2023 at approximately 4:08 AM, Patrol Officers responded to a fire department assist call in the 1200 block of S. Thomas St. Upon arrival, officers located two subjects suffering from gunshot wounds. Los Angeles County Fire Personnel, who were already on scene, pronounced both subjects deceased.
Homicide Investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began an extensive investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known. Detectives believe this to be an isolated incident, with no greater threat to the community.
