Motorcycle Crash with Injury

On 09/09/23 at 4:02pm Janesville Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the intersection of W. Court St. and N. Pine St. for a traffic accident with injuries.  The initial investigation revealed a west bound motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed on W. Court St.  A van was turning from Court St to go north on Pine St.  The motorcycle driver crashed into the van.  The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Mercy Hospital and then flown to via UW Madison via UW Med Flight.  The extent of injury is life threatening at this time.  No further information is available and further investigation is ongoing.
 
A portion of W. Court St was closed for two hours and has reopened to traffic.
