1. Pursuit Arrest (0137) Martin Luther King Boulevard and Grant Street, Park District
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop in the listed area. The driver failed to yield and led officers on a short pursuit before the vehicle stopped, and the occupants were taken into custody. One occupant had a firearm in his possession. ARRESTED: Alejandro Padilla, 18, and three male juveniles for traffic charges, resisting arrest, and weapon charges.
2. Carjacking (2200) 1800 Block of Harbor Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 53, drove the two suspects to the listed area. When they arrived, the suspects attacked and beat the victim, stealing his property and car. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Two black male adults.
3. Person Shot (2330) Burkett Avenue and Scotts Avenue, Park District
The male victim, 32, was walking in the listed area when the suspect shot him. The victim was treated at an area hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. There is no suspect information.
