The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Hudson County and Hoboken. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some scheduled events in Hoboken, including First Street Sundays and the Hoboken Italian Festival, have been cancelled for the rest of the day. Please contact event organizers for more information.
The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) reminds residents to exercise caution as any intense rainfall of greater than 0.8 inch per hour could result in flooding in low-lying areas. Residents should avoid flood-prone areas. Do not drive around barricades.
Please report flooded intersections and clogged drain inlets by calling the NHSA Hotline at (866) 689-3970.
