NARRATIVE:
On this September 11th, the Township of Ocean Police Department would like to take a moment to remember the lives lost during the terrorist attack that occurred 22 years ago. We would also like to acknowledge all of the Veterans and First Responders who keep this country and its citizens safe while at home and abroad.
The Police Department Honor Guard had the privilege to participate in the opening ceremony of the Township of Ocean Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing. The event was held in an effort to benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Since 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
