SUBJECT: Arrest made in child annoyance case
DATE/TIME: September 8th 2023
LOCATION: 1 James Avenue, Redwood City
Media Information: On September 8th at around 3:57 PM Redwood City Officers responded to the bus station at 1 James on the report of a disturbance. Further investigation at the scene revealed that an adult male had grabbed a 16 year old female around the waist and made sexual comments towards her.
The suspect, Redwood City resident Eric Perry (56) was located. He was arrested for the child annoyance, as well as a warrant stemming from a different crime and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams was booked in to the San Mateo County Jail.
He does not match the description of the suspect described in the previous child annoyance press release at 1 James that occurred on August 18th. That suspect is described as a white male in his 50’s with a missing eye.
