INCIDENT: Felony Warrant Arrest for P.C. 422 - Criminal Threats
Felony Warrant Arrest for P.C. 3455 - Violation of Probation
LOCATION: 100 block of San Luis Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Brian Lillard, 49-Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Monday, September 11, 2023, at approximately 11:36 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to a call for service near the 100 block of San Luis Street in Needles. Once on scene, deputies identified the suspect Brian Lillard, as having two active felony warrants. The suspect saw deputies and retreated back inside of the residence. Deputies attempted to make contact with Lillard by making PA announcements for approximately one hour with no compliance. Deputies contacted San Bernardino County Aviation and Specialized Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) for assistance.
At approximately 1:37 p.m., Sheriff's Aviation arrived on scene and assisted in PA announcements from the air. At approximately 1:47 p.m., the suspect exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident, prior to SWAT arriving on scene.
Lillard was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Lillard remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with no bail, awaiting a court hearing.
