Southbound US-31 is scheduled to be CLOSED and DETOURED between Van Wagoner Street and 3rd Street TONIGHT (Tuesday) at midnight through September 29. Northbound US-31 is scheduled to close at 3rd Street this Friday night through September 29.
Local traffic will exit at Van Wagoner Street and 3rd Street to 174th Avenue. Through-traffic will be directed to I-96, M-231 and M-45 (Lake Michigan Drive).
Lane closures for culvert replacement remain in effect through mid-November on US-31 between 3rd Street and Van Wagoner Street. The on ramp from Van Wagoner Street to southbound US-31 is closed through November, and the on ramp from 3rd Street to northbound US-31 is also closed through November.
The work is weather dependent.
