UPDATED: Missing Boater Found Deceased 
UPDATE: David Split was found deceased by search crews in Ottawa County. The incident remains under investigation.
UPDATE:
Searchers with the US Coast Guard located the missing boat unoccupied about 32 miles west of Grand Haven Wednesday afternoon. Efforts continue to locate the fisherman.
Local Law Enforcement and The U.S. Coast Guard are searching for a fisherman, reported missing in Lake Michigan near Holland. 61-year-old David Split, a Fruitport resident, was reported missing shortly after 8 p.m Tuesday. He was last seen leaving Spring Lake in a 29-foot Blue Sea Sundancer named "A & A".
Split is known to fish near the mouth of the Grand River and slightly offshore. His cellphone was last pinged around six miles off Holland.
