This is an emergency notification from the Lubbock Police Department regarding a(n) Road Closed. The incident details at this time are: LPD MCIU is conducting a mapping operation in the area of the 1900 block of South Loop 289. The westbound access road between Ave. P & U will be closed. Vehicles traveling west will be directed north. The main lanes of the loop will be down to one lane from I-27 to University Ave. The LPD needs the public to avoid the area.
