Zero Waste Survey announced; HPD officers promoted; Citi Bike stations moved

Take the Zero Waste Survey

The City of Hoboken invites residents, businesses, and property managers to take the online Zero Waste survey as part of the City's Zero Waste Initiative. The project team will use survey responses to inform the future Zero Waste Plan, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from waste, improve resident quality of life, and save taxpayer money through more efficient waste collection. The survey is scheduled to close on Oct. 5, at 6 p.m.

Hoboken police promotions and swearing-in

The Hoboken Police Department welcomed a new officer and celebrated the rising up of four others at a ceremony in City Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 13. 

Police Officer Anthony Ingraffia, formerly of the Elmwood Park Police Department was sworn in as per an intergovernmental transfer. Lt. Donald Rosso, Sgt. Joseph Mezzina, Sgt. James Barbro, and Sgt. Justin DePascale were all promoted.

Citi Bike docking stations relocated
Lyft has relocated two Citi Bike docking stations to better accommodate residents and users. The docking station at Fourth and Hudson Streets has been relocated to Fourth and River Streets and the 11th and Adams Street station has been relocated to 12th and Adams Streets.
