What to know:
1. Entrance is free to all!
2. Parking is located on the south end of the park, and overflow parking is located less than a block south with transfer by golf cart if necessary, courtesy of the City of East Chicago. (We will do a separate post on that soon.)
3. This is a rain or shine event.
4. We love dogs/pets, but please leave them at home. Dogs and pets are actually not allowed at East Chicago Parks. Last year we had a staff member randomly attacked by a leashed dog.
5. Several of the vendors, especially food vendors, accept cash only.
6. Be sure to get the Bingo Card you will receive at the entrance stamped to participate in some free prize drawings, including a free family membership to the Field Museum, and free train tickets to get you there.
