RIP CURRENT AND HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FRIDAY EVENING INTO SATURDAY MORNING. 
The National Weather Service advised there will be a strong rip current risk along the Jersey Shore through Friday evening. In addition, a high surf advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday. The Deal Police Department is requesting everyone to stay out of the water due to dangerous conditions.
