FBI Offers Reward, Asks Public’s Help Identifying Suspected Bank Robber
Atlantic City, NJ – FBI Newark Atlantic City Resident Agency, Northfield Police Department and Absecon Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspected bank robber who has robbed two banks in as many days. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in the investigation.
Detectives say a man robbed the Parke Bank at 501 Tilton Road, in Northfield on September 14, at around 6:30pm. They believe the same suspect robbed the First National Bank at 106 New Jersey Avenue, in Absecon on September 15, at around 1pm. Witnesses describe the robber as a man around 5’7” to 5’10”, with a medium build, wearing black pants, black shirt, and a camouflaged baseball cap. He was also seen wearing a Covid-type mask entering the banks. He used a black sedan as a getaway car. No one was injured during either robbery.
If anyone has information about the robber or the robberies, they are asked to call the FBI Atlantic City Office at 973-792-3000, the Northfield Police at 609-641-3122, or Absecon Police at 609-641-0667. They could receive a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
