1. Persons Shot (2245) North Wilson Way and East Main Street, Park District
The three adult victims were driving in the listed area when they were involved in a traffic collision with the suspects. The suspects then shot at the victims, striking two of them. The victims were transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Two White male adults.
2. Homicide (0203) 1700 Block of East Lafayette Street, Park District
Officers responded to the area on the report of a person shot. They located the female victim, 46, suffering from gunshot wounds, and later succumbed to her injuries. Detectives were advised and responded to assist with the investigation.
3. Battery on an Officer (0203) 1700 Block of East Lafayette Street, Park District
While officers were investigating the above-listed homicide, the suspect became combative and assaulted two officers. An officer deployed his taser to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Pedro Macedo, 31 for battery on an officer, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.
