Owensville man arrested on DUI charge. 
On September 17, 2023, at 4:10 a.m. Owensville Town Marshal Rodger Leister conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Owensville after observing erratic driving behavior of the driver of a Black 2011 GMC Truck. Officer Leister also observed an equipment violation prior to the stop. Upon approaching the vehicle Officer Leister detected obvious signs of impairment on the driver 24 year old Cole Linson of Owensville. At that point Officer Leister conducted a roadside DUI investigation and during the investigation Officer Leister transported Mr. Linson to the Deaconess Gibson Emergency Room for a blood drawl. The results of that test revealed Mr. Linson had a blood alcohol content of .22. Upon receiving the results of the test Mr. Linson was booked in Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated. He has since posted a $650 bond.
Assisting Officer Leister in his investigation was Deputy Wyatt Hunt.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
