Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On September 8, at approximately 11:42 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 700 block of West 4th Street, when they observed a subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police observed the subject enter his vehicle and leave the area, at which time a motor vehicle stop was conducted. Police made contact with 60-year-old Reginald Wright who was taken into custody without incident. Police recovered 2.4 grams of crack cocaine and 37.2 grams of marijuana.
Wright has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on his own recognizance.
