Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man on drug charges following an investigation.
Beginning in September, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 3200 block of West 2nd Street. On September 11, at approximately 3:23 p.m., police conducted a vehicle stop on a subject wanted for unrelated charges in the area of Centre and Faulkland Roads. Police made contact with 46-year-old Randoplh Mukoro who was taken into custody without incident. Officers subsequently executed a search warrant in the 3200 block of West 2nd Street, and recovered .2 grams of crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
Mukoro has been charged with the following offenses in addition to his active warrants:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Hindering Prosecution
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $1,400 unsecured bail.
