City announces complimentary tickets to Propelify
The 8th Annual Propelify Innovation Festival will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, at Maxwell Place Park, and residents can now register for a complimentary ticket through a partnership between the City and Propelify.
The festival focuses on advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology with tech talks, exhibitors, music, food, drinks, and more. This year's speakers include founders, leaders, and executives from Adobe, Verizon, Cross River, Justworks, Therma, Chkr Foundation, WercFlow, SoftwareTestingAI and many more.

The festival will also include investor & founder fundraising meetings, innovation demos & exhibitor booths, startup career development opportunities, an innovation lounge, evening happy hour, and a fireworks display scheduled at 7 p.m.

Cheerleading Back to School Nights and Cheer Camp
The City of Hoboken and Cheer Dynamics All Stars are holding back-to-school babysitting nights this week at the Multi-Service Center Gym, 124 Grand St. The cost is $30 per child, per night, and includes tumbling and pizza. There is a $5 discount for additional siblings. The event runs from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. on the following dates:
- Tuesday, Sept. 19
- Wednesday, Sept. 20
- Thursday, Sept. 21
The City and Cheer Dynamics All Stars are also hosting a Cheerleading Cheer Camp on Monday, Sept. 25 at the Multi-Service Center Gym. The cost and times are as follows:
- 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. $75 per participant
- 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. $15 per participant
- 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. $15 per participant
All participants for both programs must be 5 to 14 years old and be potty trained. Space is limited.
