The shelter in place has been lifted. All clear has been given with no further threat to public safety. Please continue to avoid the area as crews continue the necessary repairs. Roadways continue to remain closed for at least the next 8 hours.

EBMUD, PG&E, Police, and Fire are on the scene of a gas main break in the area of Cambridge Avenue and Yale Avenue. Please use alternate routes and stay clear of the area while crews work to get the main repaired.
If you live in the area this is a shelter-in-place order.
There is no ETA for the roadways to be re-opened at this time.
