Flood Advisory until 05:30AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford. Portions of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Barton and Jasper.

* WHEN...Until 530 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1122 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pittsburg, Girard, Frontenac, Arma, Cherokee, Mulberry, Bronson, Uniontown, Hepler, Chicopee, Franklin, Farlington, Brazilton, Ringo, Polk, Englevale, Pawnee Station, Hiattville, Beulah, Lone Oak, Croweburg, Yale, Petersburg, Porterville and Opolis. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
