Ross Valley Fire Department to Test Emergency Alert System 
On Friday, September 22, 2023, between 12:00pm-12:30pm, the Ross Valley Fire Department will perform a demonstration of an emergency alert system utilizing a Long Range Acoustical Device within the Town of San Anselmo. Residents of San Anselmo may hear a loud amplified voice message or siren tones. This demonstration is designed to test the capabilities of this technology to ensure its effectiveness to provide residents with proper notifications in the event of an emergency.
Tomorrow’s event is simply a test and there is no need to contact emergency services.
