Laurel Avenue work set to begin next week 
Weather permitting, city contractor A-Del Construction will begin work to replace the water main in the third block of Laurel Street, between Bayard and Scarborough avenues, on Monday, September 25. The roadway will be closed to through traffic both Monday and Tuesday, but accessible to residents of that block. Parking restrictions will be in place in areas of the block from 8 am-5 pm workdays.
On Tuesday, September 26, a full water service shutdown will be implemented beginning at 10 am; water service is expected to be restored by 4 pm. Hang tags will be issued today at all homes that will be impacted by the water shutdown.
