FINAL UPDATE: Sewer Main Break on Oxford Rd 
FINAL UPDATE: The repairs to the sewer main have been completed and back to normal operation. Thank you to those in the area for their assistance in not overloading the system.

UPDATE: Further investigation has found a blockage in the sewer main in that area. The reason there hasn't been backups so far is there is a crack in the main further upstream that is leaking. A repair crew is working on resolving both problems, but it may take at least another 4-5 hours to complete. Please do your best to not flush solids, do laundry or run a lot of water down the drain. These activities could result in backups into homes.
The Village Hall closes at 4:00 pm. If you have a backup, please call the on-call DPW phone number, 608-444-6246.

The Village has experienced a sewer main break on Oxford Road. Residents in the area of 3120-3140 Oxford Road should avoid flushing toilets, doing laundry or running large amounts of water down the drain at this time.
