LOCATION: US Patriot Armory, 13548 Nomwaket Road, Apple Valley
SF Raceworks, 22264 Ottawa Road, Apple Valley 
10000 block Estrada Avenue, Lucerne Valley 

SUSPECT(S): Nathan Rogers, 39-year-old male of Lucerne Valley

SUMMARY: On Sunday, September 17, 2023, at approximately 5:09 AM, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a report of a burglary alarm at US Patriot Armory on Nomwaket Road. Shortly thereafter dispatch received a call from a citizen who arrived in the shopping center and noticed damage to the doors of the business. Deputies responded to the location and investigated this attempted burglary.

On Sunday, September 17, 2023, at approximately 10:28 PM, dispatch received a call from SF Raceworks on Ottawa Road that their business had been burglarized sometime during the night of September 16, 2023. Deputies investigated this burglary as well. 

The detective division of Apple Valley Police Department took over the investigation of these burglaries and developed information which lead them to an address in the 10000 block of Estrada Avenue in Lucerne Valley. Detective M. Rivas obtained a search warrant for the residence and on September 18, 2023, at approximately 4:26 PM the search warrant was served, with the assistance of deputies from Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station.

During the service of the search warrant Nathan Rogers was found to be living at the residence. Firearms, reported stolen vehicles from Big Bear, Lucerne Valley and Grand Terrace, and other stolen property was located at the residence. A check revealed Rogers to be a previously convicted felon.

Rogers was arrested and transported to High Desert Detention Center. He was booked on the above listed charges. 

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, Victorville District Attorney’s filed charges of felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of large capacity magazines, burglary, possession of stolen vehicles, and possession of stolen property against Nathan Rogers.
