#1 on SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN'S Top Ten Most Wanted is in custody.
On September 13th, 2023, Forest Park Police and Firefighters responded to a location where they observed a vehicle engulfed in flames.
After firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, a body was discovered inside the trunk of the burned vehicle.
On September 20th, 2023, warrants were obtained for Akiri Ursery-Nichols.
SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN activated his “Elite Units” to apprehend Ursery-Nichols, Akiri and bring him to justice.
Four hours later, the specialized units investigation led them to Gwinnett County.
SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN'S "Elite Units" and deputies from the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office cornered Ursery-Nichols in a residence in Gwinnett County where he smartly surrendered without incident.
Ursery-Nichols, Akiri is now in custody at the Clayton County Jail.
