FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of Central Kansas, including the following 
  counties, Chase and Marion.
* WHEN...Until 215 PM CDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water 
  crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 808 AM CDT, the public reported heavy rain in the warned
    area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring.
    Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Up to a half inch
    of additional rainfall is expected over the next six hours.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hillsboro, Marion, Cottonwood Falls, Strong City, Florence,
    Goessel, Lincolnville, Ramona, Lehigh, Tampa, Durham, Bazaar,
    Lost Springs, Elmdale, Cedar Point, Pilsen, Hymer, Marion
    Lake, Tallgrass Prairie Preserve and Tallgrass Prairie.

Instructions:

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't
drown.
