Sheriff's Marine Enforcement Unit Receives an Award from the National Association of Safe Boating Law Administrators

Operation Dry Water Western Region Law Enforcement Award
SUMMARY: On September 21, 2023, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Marine Enforcement Unit was invited to the National Association of Safe Boating Law Administrators awards banquet to receive an award. The Marine Enforcement Unit received an award for boating under the influence arrests during the Fourth of July Weekend. The Marine Enforcement Unit remains dedicated to stopping and arresting subjects operating boats under the influence. The Marine Enforcement Unit would like to thank NASBLA for their efforts against boating under the influence and for presenting the Marine Enforcement Unit with the Western Region Law Enforcement Award.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Marine Enforcement Unit would like to remind boater's to boat safe and boat sober. The Marine Enforcement unit also encourages everyone to wear personal floatation devices while on the waterways as it is a proven fact personal floatation devices save lives.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is dedicated to providing a safe boating atmosphere for the public and urges everyone to boat sober and wear their life jackets.
