Project Safe Roads 
The Plainsboro Police Department has been made aware of solicitors going door-to-door in several area neighborhoods without permits/registration from the Plainsboro Twp. Clerk’s Office.
It has also recently been reported by homeowners that companies has been operating contrary to Plainsboro solicitor’s ordinance and employing questionable practices. No home owner is required to allow a solicitor entry into their house.
Some companies have utilized fraudulent letters that appears to give the company permission to solicit with Plainsboro Township. The letter mentions ordinances that are not Plainsboro Ordinances, specifically Chapter 84 and Chapter 86.
