NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: MALCOLM ST & DUNCAN ST RESIDENTS
Please be advised that the contractor has begun minor construction which includes the installation of soil erosion prevention measures, removal of trees, and site clearing to install the water main. The water main installation and major construction is not planned to start until January 2024 and is scheduled to finish in 4-6 weeks. This timeline is weather dependent and any major changes in the timeline will be communicated to you as efficiently as possible. No service interruptions are expected as part of this project.

NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES: MALCOLM ST & DUNCAN ST RESIDENTS 
Construction recently began in your neighborhood for the Waldwick Water Treatment Improvements project. Construction of upgrades and improvements to the Waldwick Water Treatment Systems were financed by the New Jersey Water Bank (NJWB). Work on this project will include the installation of dual Ion Exchange Treatment Systems at essential water production wells within the Borough of Waldwick.
This project will benefit the community by upgrading the existing treatment facilities to comply with current NJDEP PFAS drinking water regulations. This will allow the Department to continue to provide safe drinking water to all residents in the Waldwick Water Department service area.
This project will also include the installation of a water main from Waldwick Well #5 (located NE of HCA Park) to Waldwick Well #4 (located in the SE corner of Malcolm St). The water main is to be installed east of Malcolm Street and Duncan Street, between Malcolm Street/Duncan Street and the Saddle River.
