Be Aware of Online and Phone Scams 
OTPD has seen an increase in online and phone scams in the past few weeks. Some common scams include: computer viruses, crypto currency, bitcoin purchases, IRS, family emergencies, lottery winnings or outstanding bills. Be aware that legitimate companies or banks will NOT ask you to pay them in gift cards or any type of online currency. DO NOT provide any of your personal information to anyone over the phone or on the computer, instead we suggest you visit your local banking branch or call them directly to confirm what is being told to you.
