Project:
Installation of a 4” EP Plastic Gas Main and residential gas services in and along Waterloo Road.

Please plan your travels accordingly to avoid delays………

Locations are as follows:
CR 604 (Waterloo Road) from River Road and ending at New
Jersey State Highway 206 in Byram Township

Contractor:
Gray Supply Corp., Contractors, on behalf of New Jersey Natural Gas
Company. (Note this work is being performed under a Sussex County
Road Opening Permit for work within the County Right of Way).

Anticipated Schedule:
 Estimated Construction Start: On or about October 2, 2023
 Estimated Construction Completion: November 2023
(Schedule subject to change based on unforeseen conditions.)
 
Traffic Impacts:
Construction will require a single lane, flagger-controlled operation of
CR‐604. Expect Delays or Plan Alternate Routes.
 
Construction Activities:
 Excavation and removal of materials to the depth of 36” to 42” in
and along CR 604 for approximately 3,545 LF.
 Place 4” EP gas main within the trench area.
 Backfill trench with Dense Graded Aggregates compacted to a
minimum of 95%.
 Place HMA asphalt mix (19M64) in various layers to the surface.
 Restripe in areas disturbed by limits of work as needed.
 Municipal Street stubs
 Residential Gas Service installations.
