SUBJECT: Suspect arrested for trying to furnish marijuana to a minor
DATE/TIME: August 18th 2023
LOCATION: #1 James, Redwood City
Media Information: On August 18th at around 3:40 PM at the bus turnaround located at #1 James, a 13 year old female juvenile was approached by an older White Male Adult. The subject offered her candy and marijuana cigarettes. The juvenile got on the bus without further incident.
On September 6th RCPD Patrol Officers stopped a subject matching the description of the suspect, Redwood City resident Alija Deltic (68). Additional investigation by RCPD Detectives confirmed that Deltic was the actual suspect.
On September 27th RCPD Detectives located Deltic at the #1 James turnaround. He was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for trying to furnish marijuana to a minor, a felony.
