ALERT: Flash Flood Watch 
Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Fairfield!
Exceptionally heavy rain is forecast for Fairfield and the region on Friday Sept 29th. Rainfall will begin late Thursday night and continue through Saturday morning. Bands of rain could produce over 2 inches per hour. Total rainfall could exceed 4 inches. Areas of roadway flooding are likely. During periods of heavy rain residents are advised to stay off the road. In all cases don’t drive through flooded roads or flooded railroad underpasses. Residents near flood-prone areas should be prepared to take protective measures as they may overflow their banks.
