Narrative:
The city of Thousand Oaks had four construction site burglaries between May and September of 2023, that were investigated by the Thousand Oaks Police Career Criminals Unit.  The investigation culminated with the arrest of Dylan Wall, 34 years old of Thousand Oaks.

The burglaries occurred in the early morning hours and the suspect used force to enter the construction sites and secured areas.  He targeted tools and copper wire.  Detectives were able to identify Wall as the suspect through surveillance video and electronic data information.

On 9/27/23, at about 4:10 PM, a patrol deputy observed Wall driving his car on Thousand Oaks Boulevard and conducted a law enforcement stop.  Wall pulled his car over and complied with deputies.  Wall was arrested for four counts of commercial burglary.  A search of Wall’s vehicle revealed burglary tools and clothing worn during the crimes.

Wall worked in the city of Thousand Oaks at a glass company and is on probation with search terms for stolen property.

Detectives believe Wall could be responsible for other construction site burglaries in Ventura County and are continuing their investigation.

Wall was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail with bail set at $30,000.00.  His arraignment date is 9/29/23, at 1:30 PM.
