* WHEN...Until 11 AM EDT /10 AM CDT/ this morning.
* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions for the Friday morning commute due to low visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Satellite imagery reveal lingering dense fog with some surface observations indicating visibilities of a mile or less in some areas. Therefore, as a precautionary measure for drivers, the dense fog advisory will be extended one more hour.
