Wilmington Police have arrested four males and recovered a stolen motor vehicle.
On September 17, at approximately 10:57 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were in the 800 block of East 23rd Street, when they observed a stolen motor vehicle. Officers attempted to conduct a vehicle stop at which time the vehicle fled. The vehicle was subsequently located in the area of Harvey Road and I-95, and four subjects fled on foot. Following a foot pursuit, police took 18-year-old Klyne Summers, 18-year-old Kyaire Harris, a 17-year-old male juvenile, and a 16-year-old male juvenile into custody without incident.
Klyne Summers has been charged with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
Summers was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $5,000 secured bail.
Kyaire Harris has been charged with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
Harris was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $5,000 secured bail.
The 17-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the New Castle County Juvenile Detention Center on $5,000 secured bail.
The 16-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
