Due to the heavy rain over the past several hours many of the streets in the Township are flooded.  Some of the main roads that are impassible at this time are: Whalepond Road between Freehold and Shadow Lawn; Monmouth Road between Grant Avenue and Redmond Avenue; Logan Road between Fairway Lane and Berkeley Avenue as well as between Park Blvd and Fairmont Avenue; Allenurst Avenue and many streets in the West Deal section.  Please avoid these areas if possible and DO NOT drive through the water if you are unsure of the depth.  As always if you need assistance please contact OTPD at 732-531-1800 for non emergencies and 911 for emergent matters.  Drive safely.
