On September 30, 2023, at approximately 9:00 pm, the Los Angeles Police Department provided the Simi Valley Police Department with information reference a possible stolen vehicle out of Los Angeles. The stolen vehicle was located by Simi Valley Police units in the 3800 block of Stell Dr. The stolen vehicle was occupied by three juvenile male suspects, who were detained and subsequently arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle. During the detention and investigation, it was later discovered that two of the juvenile suspects had committed a robbery at knife point earlier that day in the Los Angeles area. The weapon used and stolen property were all recovered by SVPD at the scene.
All three juvenile suspects were transported to the Ventura County Juvenile Hall and booked for possession of a stolen vehicle and conspiracy. Two of the juvenile suspects were booked for an additional charge of robbery.
