SUMMARY: On Saturday, September 30, 2023, at approximately 5:57 A.M., deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the area of Palmdale Road and Del Gado Road. Deputies arrived on scene and located the pedestrian, Trayshon Lowery deceased in the roadway.
Deputies from the Victorville Station's Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) responded and assumed the investigation. Deputies determined Lowery walked across Palmdale Road, east of Del Gado Road, when he was struck by two vehicles. The drivers of both vehicles remained on scene and cooperated with law enforcement. Both drivers were released at the scene.
