Temporary Detour on Dickey Road 
 
To the City of East Chicago,
 
Dickey Road is currently undergoing reconstruction to improve pavement stability and longevity to accommodate the travel demand in the area.  As part of this work, the section of southbound Dickey Road between the railroad tracks under Cline Avenue to Michigan Avenue, will be closed from October 5^th through October 17^th.  All southbound traffic going towards Michigan Avenue will be detoured to go west on Dock St. to Canal St. 
from where it can proceed to Michigan Ave. All Traffic traveling on Michigan Avenue will be detoured to Dock Street to Canal St to Dickey Rd.
