DETAILS: On 10/01/2023, just after 6:00 am, Amarillo Police was dispatched to the 4400 Blk of Parker in reference to a 911 call about a man that had been shot. Upon Officers arrival, Orlando Garces JR, 27, was found deceased inside the residence from apparent gunshot wounds. Police took into custody a Daniel Mireles JR, 25, on scene and was arrested. Mireles was booked into Randall County Jail for the charge of Murder. This incident is still being investigated by the Amarillo Homicide Unit.
