LOCATION: 72000 block of Joshua Dr., Twentynine Palms, CA
SUSPECT(S): Marquis Woodberry, 31-year-old resident of Banning
VICTIM(S): Victim #1:15-year-old Juvenile
Victim #2: Adult Female
SUMMARY: On Wedneday, September 27, 2023, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Morongo Basin Station, were dispatched to the 72000 block of Joshua Drive, in Twentynine Palms, for an unknown disturbance. Deputies discovered Marquis Woodberry punched a 15-year-old juvenile in the face. A second victim told Woodberry to leave the location and Woodberry punched her in the face.
Woodberry fled in a vehicle and was located near the intersection of Highway 62 and Sunburst Street, in Joshua Tree. Woodberry was detained and subsequently arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail for PC 273.5 – Felony Spousal Assault and PC 273A(A) - Child Endangerment.
