NOTICE OF SEALED BID AUCTION FOR SURPLUS EQUIPMENT
Date of Auction: 10/2/2023 to 10/10/2023
Location: Alex & Mattie Samuelson Office Building
Bids to be opened on: 10/10/2023 @ 10:00 AM

The City shall initiate a competitive bidding process with a MINIMUM bid of $500.00 to determine the highest bidder for the surplus equipment.
Item listed for sale:
 1991 Collins Ambulance Patient Compartment (compartment only, Stretcher not included)

The equipment shall be sold on an “as is, where is” basis and no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, shall be provided by the City.

The bidder must remove it from City property within 45 days of purchase. Failure to do so will result in equipment forfeiture, including any paid funds. The successful bidder must adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations for repairing, removing, transporting, and operating surplus heavy equipment.

Auction Guidelines

• Bidders must submit their sealed bids by 5:00 pm on October 9th, 2023.
• Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "Surplus Equipment Auction Bid" and include the following information:
Bidder's Name
Bidder's Contact Information
Bid Amount for the Surplus Equipment Package
• Bidders may inspect the equipment at the convenience of the King Cove Fire & Rescue
• All bids will be opened and notated by the City Clerk on 10/10/23 at 10:00 AM
• The highest qualified bidder will be awarded the purchase.
• A 20% deposit for the equipment must be made within two days after the bid award notification.
• Equipment must be removed from the auction site by November 24th, 2023.
The City of King Cove reserves the right to:
• Reject any or all bids.
• Waive any informality in the bidding process.
• Cancel or reschedule the auction if necessary.
