Nationwide TEST of Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) to take place on 10/4/2023 at approximately 2:20 PM 
This Wednesday, 04 October 2023, FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and the Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA).The test will consist of two portions, testing EAS (radio and television) and WEA (cell phone) capabilities. Both tests are scheduled to begin at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
