VIDEO LINK PROVIDED - Police Seek Help Identifying Aggravated Assault Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help identifying the below-pictured suspect in connection with an aggravated that occurred on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
At approximately 7 p.m., a woman walking in the 300 block of South 6th Street after leaving a grocery store was assaulted, causing her to black out on the street. When the victim came to, she had no idea who had assaulted her. None of the victim’s belongings were taken.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the identity of this suspect to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
