The Hopt Borough Fire Dept is hosting the annual Sussex County Firemen's Assn Inspection Day & Parade, Saturday October 7. Fire Dept apparatuses will begin lining up along Maxim Drive at approximately 9:00 AM, between River Styx Rd & Elba Ave to Maxim Dr & Sutton Rd. The parade will begin at 1pm, at which time no vehicle traffic will be allowed until the parade passes. The parade route begins at River Styx Rd and Elba Ave, continues down River Styx Rd, over River Styx Bridge, and ends at Hopatchung Rd and Durban Ave. Spectators may watch and view the parade from any roadside location along the parade route.
